NOEL NASCIMENTO
PIANO
Noel Nascimento - is one of that small group of pianists who had the privilege of meeting personally and having classes with Claudio Arrau. He had his first contact with this form of musical and pianistic conception still in Brazil, with Luiz Thomaszéck, his friend and former pupil of the master, having himself classes with Arrau during his years of stay in Europe in the early eighties until 1984/1985. He resided in Germany and performed in concerts in several countries, most notably in Germany and South America, receiving positive reviews from newspapers and specialized critics. His dedication to didactic aspects of piano teaching has been well-known and distinguished among pianists and piano pedagogues.

LESSON PLAN
The objective with the master classes is to transmit the technics and musical interpretation contents of the very special way of playing transmitted by Claudio Arrau to his former pupils.
We have seen since that time when a small group of pianists had the privilege to have some classes by the master to whom this musical organization is dedicated under the auspices and sponsorship of the CELAM, the time of a new generation of musicians and pianists coming up. We wish with this extended and intensive courses to make possible to talented young pianists of the actual generation to make acquaintance with those very special contents of that group of pianists which was named by Claudio Arrau himself as „The Piano School“, transmitting and transferring to the pianists of a young generation the knowledge of deep aspects of physical integration of body, mind and instrument.
Our interests and goals require more time than a conventional master class, so they must give rise to a special sound peculiarity and a characteristic view of music, of each work and composer to be interpreted. The fundamental aspects of the pianistic technique need to be revised, for which an intense and applied work is necessary, seeking its practical and functional application, which requires more time and days of work.
In order to achieve these goals, we will be able to offer participants a pleasant place in one of the most attractive cities in Latin America. Among the master classes, three have their headquarters in Brazil and one in Europe, according to CELAM, which has its administrative headquarters in Caracas, Venezuela. It will be optional, but it is recommended that participants take part in more than one master class in order to better obviate their development.
To achieve these objectives, we can offer participants a pleasant place in one of the most attractive cities in Latin America. Among the master classes offered, three are based in Brazil and one in Europe. It is recommended that participants participate in more than one master class to achieve better development.

The participant of each Masterclass must add, at the indicated dates of their course, two days of residence before the arrival and one day of residence after the departure

Participants can arrive up to two days before and if they wish to have a few extra lessons to be arranged after the dates, it may be arranged with the direction.
